Legends Revolution on iPhone

Before you start

• An iPhone on iOS 15 or newer with a passcode, and about 4 GB free.
• Wi-Fi (mobile data does not work for installing or refreshing).
• An Apple Account (free). It can be a different one from the account on the iPhone.
• A Windows computer (8 or newer, 64-bit) or a Mac (High Sierra or newer) and the iPhone cable, only the first time.

1. On the iPhone: the SideStore VPN

1. Install LocalDevVPN (open in App Store) from the App Store.
2. Open it, tap Connect and allow the VPN configuration. It runs on the iPhone itself (no outside server) and must be on whenever you install or refresh.

3. Install SideStore

1. Plug the iPhone into the computer with the cable. On the iPhone, tap Trust and enter your passcode.
2. Open iloader and sign in with your Apple Account (it is case-sensitive).
3. Select your iPhone and click Install SideStore (Stable).
4. On the iPhone: Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, tap your Apple Account under "Developer App" and then Trust.
5. If the iPhone asks: turn on Settings > Privacy & Security > Developer Mode (the iPhone restarts).
6. With LocalDevVPN connected, open SideStore and sign in with the same Apple Account. In My Apps, tap SideStore's 7 DAYS counter. If it asks about the certificate, accept.

Already use a signer? (ESign, Scarlet, Feather, GBox, KSign)

• Tap Download the IPA (step 4), save it to Files and import it into your signer.
• Sign it with your signer's certificate and install. Then open the game and log in with your site account.
• Heads up: these signers use third-party certificates that Apple can revoke at any time; then the app stops opening and you must sign it again. We don't support this path: the recommended way is SideStore, above.

Every week: refresh (on the iPhone itself)

• With a free Apple Account the app lasts 7 days. SideStore tries to refresh it by itself in the background.
• To be sure: with LocalDevVPN connected, open SideStore > My Apps > Refresh All before it expires.
• Expired and the game does not open? Just refresh the same way. Your account and progress live on the server: nothing is lost.
• Free Apple Account: at most 3 apps from SideStore at a time (SideStore itself counts) and 10 different apps per week.

If something goes wrong

• Pairing file error, "could not determine this device's UDID" (1006), or after updating/resetting the iPhone: plug in the cable, open iloader, click Delete Stored Pairing, select the iPhone and tap Trust; then Manage Pairing File > Place next to SideStore. Still failing? Restart the iPhone and the computer and repeat.
• "Address is invalid" when tapping Install via SideStore: SideStore isn't installed yet. Do steps 1 to 3 first.
• "Failed to Sign In" / error -80045 ("This action cannot be completed at this time"): Apple's sign-in is refusing, not your account. In SideStore, switch the server in Settings > Anisette Server and sign in again.
• -80045 won't go away (fix confirmed by the SideStore community in October): in User Customizations, turn off On-Device Anisette (accept the restart); in Anisette Server, pick SideStore (New); in Anisette client configuration, tap Fetch and Save as overrides; tap Reset adi.pb and sign in again (it takes a little while).
• SideStore 0.6.4 or older: Apple sign-in no longer works on these versions. Update with SideStore's update button or run iloader again > Install SideStore (Stable).
• "Incorrect Apple ID or password" (3002) or error -20101: type your Apple ID email and password again (it is case-sensitive). If it persists, create a new Apple ID just for SideStore.
• The verification code (two-factor) never arrives: turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data and go to Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security > Get Verification Code (iOS 18.0 or older: under Two-Factor Authentication). Enter the code in SideStore.
• "Apple ID cannot be used for development" (1102) or error -1011: sign in at developer.apple.com with the same Apple ID and accept Apple's terms. If it persists, use another Apple ID just for SideStore.
• Anisette error (1412) or sign-in freezes: switch the server in Settings > Anisette Server (you may need to try a few). Anisette or "session expired" error in iloader (3021, 1100): check the computer's date and time.
• "Untrusted Developer" or the app is denied permission to launch (1011): Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > your Apple ID > Trust.
• The app asks for Developer Mode: Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and turn on Developer Mode (the iPhone restarts).
• "No Wi-Fi/VPN" (1414), AFC error, "unable to connect to device" or heartbeat failure: try again after each step: Wi-Fi and LocalDevVPN connected; turn off any DNS/ad blocker; if you use WireGuard or StosVPN, switch to LocalDevVPN; close and reopen SideStore and LocalDevVPN; finally, replace the pairing file (first item).
• iOS 26.4 or newer with a VPN error: reinstall SideStore with iloader (Install SideStore (Stable)).
• "Maximum number of apps": a free Apple ID allows 3 active apps in SideStore (SideStore itself counts). Remove one in My Apps and try again.
• "You cannot register more than 10 App IDs" (1009): a free Apple ID registers at most 10 different apps every 7 days, and they can't be deleted. They free up by themselves 7 days later; until then, don't install other apps.
• The install hangs or takes long (the game is 1.3 GB): keep the screen on and SideStore open, on Wi-Fi with LocalDevVPN. If it stops: close and reopen SideStore, switch the Anisette Server, restart the iPhone and try again. "The operation timed out" (1003): just try again.
• "Failed to write to disk" (512): the iPhone is out of space. Free up about 4 GB and try again.
• The 7 days passed and the game won't open: with LocalDevVPN connected, open SideStore > My Apps > Refresh All. If the game vanished from SideStore's list, install the IPA again without deleting the game from the iPhone, then refresh SideStore.
• SideStore won't open: make sure it was installed with iloader and reinstall it there (Install SideStore (Stable)).
• The app opens but keeps loading or can't connect: fully close the game and reopen it on Wi-Fi; the first time it downloads the update (it may take a few minutes).
• Something odd on screen after a game update: close the game and open it again.
